Privatising Culture

Westminster CC have bought the rights to the famous Sir Misha Black Designed street signs, ignoring what an odd thing that is to do anyway…How much did it cost to buy the rights?

Hat-tip to Adrian (Pic from there too).

If for any strange reason any of you read my posts yesterday you will have noticed a sudden change in topic, as well as multiple posts in the same week. And the change in topic is down to TED.

TED is a mind-blowing conference that takes place once a year in with the world’s top thinkers from business to art and entertainment to world politics. And each speaker has only eighteen minutes to engage the audience.

Until this year the conference has been quite a cult and the ideas that have been articulated have only remained in the minds of the few that have attended. But now, slowly week by week a new talk is being added that has taken place.

The talks are truly inspirational and should not be missed.
